The Department of Microbiology and Immunology in collaboration with CBR, invites our members to our Health & Wellbeing learning session on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 2-3 pm (PT), and our facilitator is Ciara Moran (MA RCC), Wellness Advisor and Registered Clinical Counsellor.
 

Finding Resilience: Strategies for Responding to Stress or Burnout


Learning objectives: This year has presented many unexpected challenges and barriers to accessing our usual coping strategies. For many of us, anxiety and stress are at a constant high and symptoms of burnout may be emerging. In this presentation, we explore the stress cycle and its impact on our ability to feel resilient and be competent. We will also share strategies to complete the stress cycle in order to feel more capable and present in our work and daily life. Join us to explore the impacts of change, loss, and isolation, and learn concrete techniques for managing these unique times.
