Is Sitting is the New Smoking? The Dangers of Sitting at Your Computer and What You Can Do!


Learning objectives: Sitting for long periods at the computer or cell phone is destroying our health. Some even say sitting is the new smoking as research shows individuals who sit for extended periods have a risk of dying similar to that of smokers! In the first half of this webinar, you will learn the detrimental effects of posture prolapse syndrome (poor posture), text neck, electromagnetic radiation (EMR) exposure, digital eye strain and computer screen glare, cell phone addiction and how we are being tracked and manipulated by Google. In the second half we will cover ways to mitigate these issues, how to increase movement and energy flow, improve posture and eye strain, how to reduce the effects of EMFs and computer screen glare and stop Google from monitoring our every move. We will start the webinar with gentle stretches and breathing (chair yoga) and finish with posture realignment techniques.
