Career “Ask Me Anything” Café (Dr. Michelle Mendonca)

The Department of Microbiology and Immunology in collaboration with CBR, invites our members to a professional development series: Career “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) Café! The aim of this series is to provide a casual and intimate networking environment where attendees can learn about diverse science career paths, gain insight about the job market around the world, and directly ask questions to the professionals.


Our next virtual café will take place on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 10-11 am, and our mentor is Dr. Michelle MendoncaLearning Solutions Consultant, Cengage Canada (Toronto, Canada)


Dr. Michelle Mendonca works as a learning solutions consultant at Cengage Canada where she helps provide professors with the best resources for University and College courses and students. Michelle completed her graduate studies at McMaster University in Microbiology and is currently enjoying a career focused on sales. Whether it be laboratory kits and chemicals, lab equipment, medical devices, health care products, or now educational resources, she has sold them all.  Cengage is a global leader in educational resources and Michelle works out of the Toronto location.
