Congratulations to Dr. Lindsay Eltis, who has been named a Tier 1 CRC in "Microbial Catabolism and Biocatalysis". Lindsay's research aims to increase our understanding bacterial pathways and enzymes involved in the catabolism of aromatic compounds and steroids. His research is contributing to the development of powerful new biocatalysts to transform biomass as well as to the development of novel therapeutics for tuberculosis.
