Dr. Judith (Max) Silverman graduated this May after completing her Doctoral thesis in Dr. Neil Reiner's Lab. Her work on the parasite Leishmania donovani has produced novel discoveries and significant advances to the currant knowledge of Leishmania biology. Dr. Michael Chow completed his doctoral thesis in Dr. Hung-Sia Teh's Lab in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. Victor Lei a recent Masters Graduate from Dr. Mike Gold's Lab is working as a technician in the lab of Dr. Edward Conway at the centre for Blood Research. They study the molecular links between coagulation and inflammation. ubc_2010_spring_lei_victor.pdf
Congratulations to Dr. Kathy Tse who successfully defended her thesis last week. Her work in Dr. Mike Gold's lab focused on signal transduction mechanisms during B cell activation and migration. Kathy is currently working as a Post-Doc for the Centre for Drug Research and Development.
